It was a busy summer weekend for Kaulig Giving, as we supported three incredible events benefiting organizations making a difference across Northeast Ohio. From conservation and pediatric care to creating inclusive opportunities for individuals with physical disabilities, each event was a wonderful reminder of just how many ways our community comes together to give back.
The weekend kicked off Friday evening at the Cleveland Zoological Society’s Twilight at the Zoo, one of Cleveland’s favorite summer traditions. The sold-out event brought thousands of guests together for an evening of live music, food, and fun throughout the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo – all while raising important philanthropic support for the Zoo and its programs. We’re proud to continue supporting the Cleveland Zoological Society and its work to connect people with wildlife and inspire conservation throughout our community.
On Saturday, the giving continued at Colors for Colette, an annual chalk art festival and fundraiser hosted by This Present Hope in memory of Colette Piazza. Families, artists, and community members gathered to fill the day with color, creativity, and hope while raising support for pediatric patients and their families at local children’s hospitals, including University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s and Cleveland Clinic Children’s. Created in Colette’s memory following her battle with a brain tumor, the event transforms an incredibly difficult story into an opportunity to bring hope and support to other families navigating childhood illness.
Saturday evening, we wrapped up an incredible weekend at The Turn’s Barrington Wine Classic at Barrington Golf Club. Guests enjoyed an elegant summer evening featuring wines from Napa Valley and around the world, gourmet food tastings, auctions, and a spectacular fireworks display – all in support of The Turn’s mission to empower individuals with physical disabilities through adaptive golf and fitness. This year’s event raised more than $350,000 to advance that important work.
Three events. Three unique missions. One incredible weekend of community impact.
We’re grateful to the Cleveland Zoological Society, This Present Hope, and The Turn for the work they do every day, and proud to support events that bring people together while creating meaningful opportunities for individuals and families throughout Northeast Ohio.
