Kaulig Giving was proud to join our friends at Cleveland Guardians Charities, Cleveland Metroparks and the City of Cleveland to celebrate the groundbreaking of two new softball fields at the Jim Thome All-Star Complex at Brookside Reservation.
The project is part of Cleveland Guardians Charities’ Fields for the Future program, an initiative dedicated to improving playing conditions and expanding access to quality baseball and softball facilities for young athletes throughout Cleveland. The two new synthetic-turf infields will make history as the first turf fields in the City of Cleveland built exclusively for softball.
Once complete, the fields will become the fourth and fifth fields delivered through the Fields for the Future program, joining Talty Field at the Jim Thome All-Star Complex, CC Sabathia Field at Luke Easter Park and José Ramírez Field at Clark Field. The new fields are expected to be ready for play in spring 2027.
For Kaulig Giving, supporting projects like this is about much more than the game itself. Quality fields create more opportunities for young athletes to play, grow, build confidence and experience everything that comes with being part of a team. We’re grateful for our continued partnership with Cleveland Guardians Charities and proud to help create spaces where the next generation of Cleveland athletes can thrive.
We can’t wait to see these fields filled with young softball players next spring!
