With Walk for Babies right around the corner, we welcomed Dr. Marya Strand of Akron Children’s Hospital to the Kaulig Media Studio for a special promotional shoot highlighting the meaning, history, and impact behind this annual event.
During the conversation, Dr. Strand shared more about Walk for Babies, the incredible work of the Akron Children’s NICU team, and why bringing together former NICU families, caregivers, supporters, and community partners for this event is so meaningful. The morning also gave us an opportunity to highlight the difference community support can make for some of the hospital’s tiniest patients and their families.
Walk for Babies holds an especially meaningful place within the Kaulig family. We are proud to once again bring together Team Samantha, welcoming families and friends to walk alongside us in celebration of the children, families, and care teams whose strength inspires us every day.
We’re incredibly grateful to Dr. Strand for spending the morning with us and helping tell the story behind an event that means so much to so many. We can’t wait to come together at the Akron Zoo this September for another special Walk for Babies!
