One of our favorite days of the year returned this June as Kaulig Giving proudly partnered with First Tee – Greater Akron for the annual Putting with Police event at Mud Run Golf Course.

Designed to foster positive relationships between local youth and law enforcement, the event welcomed more than 400 children from across Northeast Ohio for a day filled with golf, games, mentorship, and meaningful connections. Officers and community volunteers spent the day alongside participants, creating an environment where conversations, laughter, and shared experiences helped build trust that extends well beyond the golf course.

Our Kaulig Giving team had the privilege of welcoming each participant with a smile upon arrival. Every child received a Kaulig Giving cinch bag to carry the day’s giveaways and activities, along with Kaulig Giving sunglasses, fresh oranges, granola bars, Gatorade, and bottled water to help them stay fueled throughout the day.

One of the most rewarding parts of the event was spending one-on-one time with the children and the dedicated mentors, volunteers, officers, and community leaders who guided them throughout the course. Their enthusiasm, encouragement, and genuine care created an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

At Kaulig Giving, we believe meaningful relationships are built through shared experiences. We’re honored to continue supporting First Tee – Greater Akron and this incredible event that uses the game of golf to inspire confidence, strengthen communities, and create lasting memories for the next generation.
