NASCAR Foundation

Kaulig Companies introduced the NASCAR Foundation to Ohio in 2021 with a sponsorship of the organization’s Speedy Bear Brigade. The NASCAR Foundation distributes thousands of bears to children in hospitals across the county leading up to and on National Teddy Bear Day in September. Since 2021, Kaulig Giving hosts a distribution and media event at Akron Children’s Hospital while Kaulig Racing aids the campaign in North Carolina and Kaulig Media produces video content of the event and for the nonprofit. Support of the NASCAR Foundation expanded in 2022 and continues with a sponsorship of the organization’s annual Poker Tournament leading up to the Daytona 500, by underwriting the entire Speediatrics Fun Day Festival Program, and continued support of the Speedy Bear Brigade. The NASCAR Foundation brings the Speediatrics Fun Day Festivals to about 10 race markets across the country during the racing season. The program includes a collaboration with a local non-profit, curriculum for children focused on healthy habits, and a festival just before race day. Kaulig Companies employees from Ohio and North Carolina are hands on with at least one festival each year by showing up, assembling bikes, and working and having fun with kids at the festival.
