The spirit of giving was alive and well this December as Santa PICsU brought holiday magic to two Northeast Ohio pediatric hospitals: Akron Children’s Hospital and University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s. With vehicles packed to the brim and hearts full of love, the Santa PICsU ‘Navy SEALS of Christmas’ team delivered hundreds of gifts to lift the spirits of children spending the holidays in the hospital.
From Barbie Dolls to Baby Rattles, arts and crafts to books, the deliveries were curated to spread warmth, comfort, and smiles. The 2025 drop-offs included:
- Cozy comfort sets for patients of all ages
- Plush toys
- Books, coloring supplies & activity kits
- LEGO sets, and more
Each gift embodies Santa PICsU’s mission: to bring the Healing Power of Giving to children and families facing traumatic situations—making sure no child goes without Christmas.
These special drop-offs would not be possible without the incredible passion of the Santa PICU team and the dedication of the PICU nurses, doctors, and staff who help create moments of joy during an otherwise difficult time.
