In a historic announcement, the 2025 Kaulig Companies Championship and its associated events generated a record-breaking $2,193,145 for Northeast Ohio nonprofits – marking the largest annual charitable total ever produced by professional golf events at Firestone Country Club.
The championship’s success extended beyond the green, thanks to its impactful lineup of fundraising events, including the Ambassador of Golf Event and Chip in Fore Charity initiative. Beneficiaries of this year’s total include Akron Children’s Hospital Foundation, First Tee Greater Akron, the LeBron James Family Foundation, and several other vital local organizations.
