Cleveland’s Own: Children’s Hunger Alliance

In this month’s edition of Fox 8’s Cleveland’s Own, Matt Kaulig meets with Judy Mobley from Children’s Hunger Alliance.

Children’s Hunger Alliance is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to ending childhood hunger in Ohio by providing millions of healthy meals to fuel kids’ minds and bodies. The work at Children’s Hunger Alliance provides kids with one of their most basic needs, food. Now over 700,000 – or 1 in 4 – children in Ohio are struggling with hunger. Children’s Hunger Alliance has a team of 50 professionals throughout Ohio who are passionate about ending childhood hunger in our 88 counties. Their home office is in Columbus, Ohio, with Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Toledo regional offices and other staff working remotely across the state. They partner with organizations throughout Ohio to provide nutritious meals to at-risk children who need food most, helping in-home daycare providers, daycare centers, afterschool, and summer programs provide balanced, healthy meals to children in their care.

Fox 8 Cleveland’s Own

Fox 8 Cleveland’s Own is about good people doing good work in Northeast Ohio. WJW Fox 8 and Kaulig Charitable Giving Programs team up to celebrate Cleveland’s Own by highlighting the best of our region in a big way! Each month, Fox 8’s Stefani Schaefer and Kaulig Companies and LeafFilter Executive Chairman Matt Kaulig, share a story about a person or organization from Northeast Ohio doing good work.
